‘Bolongaro Trevor, from the original designers of the British line All Saints. The distress on these clothes felt genuine, especially on the austere black T-shirt with a reversible panel buttoned to the front, in the manner of an 1800s military jacket ($109).

Most convincing was the handsome zipper-edged black blazer with a British-flag lining ($420). It was versatile, substantial and yet not overwhelming, and its punk reference points were rendered elegantly, natural to the garment as opposed to stamped on by rote. It was hard not to think that Mr. McLaren would have loved it.’
